Although we have sent information to the league commissioners on how the Tour Championship will be scored, we are repeatedly getting emails on the topic. Please see the details below.

Our results for the Tour Championship will be posted as they are posted on PGATour.com for the round by round and strokes data. The earnings will be based on a $9,250,000 tournament purse. We will not adjust the handicapped starting scores, we will post them as is.

Getting additional questions...

I saw your FAQ’s… basically stating posting round by round for strokes data as is.

But since some leagues pay bonuses, based on finishing in the top-3 at tournament’s end… winning, placing 2nd or placing 3rd.

Can we assume that the handicaps will be in place to calculate winning, placing 2nd or placing 3rd?

For instance, Justin Thomas is currently in first place. Jason Kokrak is in 30th. If they both shoot the same scores all four rounds (better that anybody else), Justin beats him by net 10 strokes to finish in 1st place?

Correct. If Justin Thomas shoots 70 strokes every round, he will show as -10 and if Jason Kokrak shoots 70 strokes every round he will show as even par.

Because of the changes to the data feed related to the different scoring format, live scoring will not work for the Tour Championship. Scores will be posted after the tournament is complete.

***** UPDATE: We have made some adjustments to the live scoring process, and now have the live scoring working for the Tour Championship *****
