Hey Matt,
First I would like to thank you for creating this website. It's a breath of fresh air after dealing with Yahoo's crap for 9 yrs. We started with a 3 man league in 2008 and now have raised it to 12. Everyone is way more in favor of the salary cap than having to change players on a daily basis. Kind of merged yahoo and Draftkings.
I only have a couple suggestions or questions. Would it be possible to carry over or do a random pick for someone who forgot to pick their players? I deal with this on a weekly basis even when I send reminders. Other group members don't like the fact that I pick players, for someone who forgot their picks, after the tournament has started. I understand where they are coming from but I also hate to see someone miss a week and be out of the whole season.
Also, is it possible to create a bracket for the match play? I've been working in Austin the last two years and it's been awesome being able to go. Anyways, my buddies would love to do a bracket. I've configured one on a spreadsheet in the past but it's cumbersome in use. I also forget almost every year. I know my members would pay extra to enter a bracket. The scoring would obviously be different and it probably be a single tourny payout for my private league.
Thanks again Matt. You're doing a great job.
Wes

Hi Wes, Thanks for the kind words!
As for the forgotten picks, we can look into some sort of automated process to handle that, but it gets pretty tricky when trying to keep league rules and salary caps in line. It is something I can put on our feature request list to see if there is something we can do.
To be honest, I don't see us implementing bracket functionality for the Match Play. That would be very involved and the standard functionality of the website already consumes a large amount of time. We have a very long list of feature requests that we prioritize and that keeps us plenty busy... :)
Thanks, Matt
