Hello Buzz Members, Over the off season, we made some necessary changes to our website which were deployed on 12/19/2018. Read below to review the highlighted changes. - The biggest upgrade that we made over the off season was moving our website to new upgraded web servers. As part of this move, we moved from the "buzzfantasyleagues" domain to "buzzfantasygolf". For those of you who has saved links, they should still work but we recommend going to https://buzzfantasygolf.com going forward.
- In order to improve our initial look to guest visitors and to improve our search results, we have redesigned our main page, the private league landing page, the draft guide landing page, and the free game landing page. As part of this redesign, we also made registering on our website much easier. You can read more about that below.
- Simplified registration process
- Instead of requiring users to enter first and last name, as well as address information upon registering, we now only require email and password. This makes creating a user account on our site much easier. We still recommend going to your account page and filling in the additional information, because that information is needed for distributing prizes.
- Simplified the process to join a league
- Previously, to join a league a user needed to already have a user account created. Now a new user can create their team and their user account at the same time. The invite link to a league will now allow the user to enter their team name, league password, email, and their user account password.
- User account modifications
- Users can now log in by entering their username or email. Going forward, all new logins will use email address. We have also provided a new user alias, which will be what displays in the league for the user. This allows users to customize what displays for their user account.
